Nautical Tuesday

I decided to go nautical today! I paired a red bodycon skirt, strapless nautical peplum top, and my Sperry's for the outfit. For my accessories, I chose an anchor pendant necklace, sailor wheel & anchor earrings, and a small silver bracelet with my opal ring. My top is from BodyCentral.Com (ordered it on my birthday!), my skirt is from Kohls, and I ordered my Sperry's from Journeys.Com.

I did a bit of a twist on my sock bun. I first put my hair in a high ponytail, then brought the sock up to the start of the ponytail. (For the sock - by a new pair of long socks, then snip the 'toe line' off. Roll the sock into a doughnut.) I pulled all of my hair over the sock, then placed a thin hairband near my scalp, securing the hair over the sock. I then french braided the remaining hair around the bun.

I am super excited because I am applying for two different jobs this week! I was offered a catering job at Southland, so I will be dropping off that application tomorrow. Because that will be more of a weekly, on-call job, I also decided I should get a daily job for the summer. I am being interviewed at Morris Farm Market tomorrow! Now I'm off to working on my resume...
